This year, I’ll be spending July 4th (Independence Day) in East Hampton New York…However, my fondest memories are of my “childhood” and how we, my family (My Mother Erma/Irma, My Brother James) spent every 4th of July on the S.S. Admiral or at the Gateway Arch…..My Mother always bought me “something new” to wear on the 4th of July (and of course, I, Renee, always wanting to “be grown”, would leave the house wearing huge hoop earrings and frosted pink lipstick and looking like I was 25 years old…when actually I was only 12 years old….(White Men would “crane their necks” and STARE at me…LOL)….Anyway….Family Gatherings are “such fun”; And hey, did you hear about the 80,000 member family tree? It just had it’s global family reunion in June. Could any of “THEE” be related to Little Old ME?
