Now he’s done it–goddamn it! He’s gone goddamn crazy. Bob The Specialist my foot! Dred skipped every other step as he rushed up the stairs to the CO’s quarters. Dred (named after Dred Scott of course) needed real help this time. HE, Bob, was about to get Joan killed. The maniac!

On February 12, 1942, Army Chief of Staff, General George C. Marshall, approved the allocation of 53,299 African-Americans to the Army Air Forces with the “stipulation that air base defense ‘for the number of air bases found necessary’ be organized and that “Negro personnel” be used for this purpose as required. On January 2, 1948 General Order No 1 from Headquarters USAF designated those transferred units and personnel (previously mentioned) as “AIR POLICE”. On July 14, 2013 Dred Scott was in the stairwell. One of two (or more) interceptors comes on the channel (aka on the line aka online).

“What are you doing?” says The Russian, in his thick Russian accent.

“Pull her back” snears Faruk The Arab.

“FUCK YOU” Bob says, then pushes the OFF button on his phone.

“He just went off line”. The Russian’s assistant says, in an equally thick Russian accent.

“Bullshit. She can’t hear what he’s saying”. The Russian says confused.

“Do it”. Bob says, to himself, in a WHISPER. “You’re not with Muslims, they don’t want to die. It’ll take out half of this city. Pick it up. Pick it up.”

Joan approaches the case and picks it up.

“She did it! She just armed it!” says observing Staff Member 32 in the MC (mission control) room downstairs.

Bob The Specialist comes back online, “You’re all dead men”.

“Drop it! Now! Sit it down!” Ully, rumored to have been a member of the “Stasi” (German Secret Police) has just come out from cover and he has his weapon raised and pointed at Joan.

Bob comes on, “Tell him if he shoots you’ll trigger”.

Joan listening, on her earpiece, repeats, “If you shoot I’ll trigger”.

Bob suddenly, to his left, HEARS; it is his C.O. and SHE is speaking softly through the door, “Unlock this door stupid”.

“I’ve got a situation here”.

She repeats, “Unlock this door stupid”. She turns to Dred “Get Clark on the 3rd floor. We need to break down this door”.
