PRODUCT: A MINE SWEEPER/MINE DETECTOR (CALLED “ReMiDe”)

PRINCIPLE: A Land Mine sweeping/ Land Mine detection “device” that would operate via remote control (just like the military’s unmaned missile-armed drones).

TECHNOLOGY (MECHANICS): A mini (12-inch round) “saucer shaped” hovercraft (“ReMiDe”) that would be armed with a “metal detecting radar technology” or a “metal reading/viewing software”.

2. My mini “saucer shaped” hovercraft (“ReMiDe”) would float, gravitate (travel) above the ground much as a “Robovac” travels along the floor–exploring and sweeping–in a “grid”.

3. Once the “location” of a “Land Mine” is detected a “destroyer rover” (WILLIS) is then sent to “destroy” the “Land Mine”.

REMEDY:
The name “ReMiDe” is an acronym (and an anachronism) for “RENEE MINE DETECTOR” …. (I named my invention after myself….).

She had spent $400 at the hair salon, $100 on her manicure, and even though the dress and shoes were “on loan” from her friend Elena’s boutique , they were, nevertheless hot! Nobody knew her secret yet, though. Not friends and not family. Only her creditors (and their hairdressers) knew that she was broke…busted…bankrupt. And–she was about to “go to jail”. She had kited (bounced) $20,000 in bad checks. And– when her bank figured that out she’d be arrested. (So she’d been firmly told by her lawyer who was also her closest and oldest friend)…. Predictably—when the gold embossed Crane invitation came from “HIM” she packed her black Tumi bag and sprinted, in four inch heels, for the door.

Which is why while sitting in the United Airlines VIP lounge she had decided to forego drinks. Forego them so that she could practice, on the keyboard, to get her speed up. Over and over she’d been repeating the same 16 words. It was a ‘phrase’ used by typing students since the advent of typewriters. “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country”. Only–she wasn’t on a typewriter, or a laptop, she was on her cell phone. She was practicing to achieve the required 20 wpm “texting speed” the invitation suggested she have. Double Eureka! All her friends (and enemies) knew she could “text message” faster than anyone. And to win that million dollars she’d text everybody–and their mother–to Hades– TO HELL –and back….
