        I never, never missed an episode of  “Charlie’s Angels” (those ‘angelic badasses’ who worked for the “invisible” controller Charlie ) ….

       I, like everybody else, was first introduced to Farrah Fawcett as the “Break Girl” whose flowing blonde hair sold bottles and bottles of flowing blonde colored shampoo….Next — Farrah Fawcett burst through to “pop iconery” with her “swimsuit poster” that occupied millions of walls and brought in millions of dollars (see above). Then–From Breck Girl to Charlie’s Girl (I mean, Charlie’s “angel”) Farrah then went to Broadway  and into ”Extremities” and she came back again this time into “social iconery” in “The Burning Bed”….She even played a “social-lite icon”  (Barbara Hutton) in “Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story”.

       Farrah Fawcett, was also a “style icon” whose “lion-ness mane” was worn –in the 80’s –by every  female (including Renee Ashley Baker–see  ”Mermaid” photo)….. 

        Farrah Fawcett, was also a “fashion icon” and my favorite Farrah Fawcett outfit was the “ballet tutu” topped with a “denim jeans jacket”).

        And….finally, Farrah Fawcett, became (to me) the “coolest female action icon” when she returned, triumphantly,  to “Charlie’s Angels” and performed the “coolest action scene” in tv (or for that matter motion picture) history….

       We See, dressed in ALL WHITE , the amazing and dazzling Farrah as she engages in battle.  In  Zen-like hand to hand combat Farrrah karate kicks and karate chops her former lover while moving–cat like– on a space no wider than a balance beam.  Yet– the fabulous Farrah BALANCES!…(You see,  Farrah has been pretending to have left the “Angels” for her “devilishly handsome” beau but was, alas, all the time working undercover–DEEP COVER – for Charlie)….

(Renee Ashley Baker’s Aside:   “We all know there is no such thing as a “blonde Egyptian”…wink!”).

         Finally–David Letterman gave a “real” apology to Sarah Palin and her daughter–her “other” daughter–14 year old Bristol. 

         However–Dave’s apology was too little too late…. It seems that Sarah had already “gotten even”.   She had already purchased a “Hallmark Recordable Card” and recorded her own message to Dave.

         The message? 

         ”Would you like some sweet tea?”  said Sarah using the ‘eeery’ line from “NBC Dateline: To Catch A Predator”  starring Chris Hansen ….
